Looking back in history Cpt. Gary Vanatta was transferred
from a combat field unit and assigned to the 104th were he
assumed command from Cpt. Brockway who went home in
September of 1970, He led the transfer of the 104th from Camp
Frenzell Jones to Can Tho in December of 1970.
Just after this move he also returned to the states and opened a
Cranberry Farm. He would like to hear from members of the
104th, so if you get time drop him an e-mail.
