| Manuel said that on one of their convoys they took some small arms fire, then they put the pedals to the metal, as they went thru Tay Ninh they were going around 55 MPH, he said the MP's couldn't keep up with them and radioed ahead, when they arrived at the base, the captain ask why they were speeding and that the MP's called them the Flying Tigers, it stuck with them from their on out. |
