Spoke with Jim last night, as he toured
some of the pictures he was able to put
some names to the faces.

New pictures from Jim's from some items
he gave me last year at the Reunion, I fell
ill and never had the chance to get it on the
web until now.

was his hope to have his flag kept nice, BUT,
he went on leave and when he came back he
found everyone there had signed it.

Jim Geisler, Ralph Sharper,Dwayne Sharper,
Son met and had lunch together and kicked
around old times.
Jim is retired and enjoying life, his wife just
attending the reunion. Jim took over the job
as the bartender of The Rock Droppers Inn
recovered from an illness, he will be after
Ronnie Roach left, after that he didn't have
to go on the road anymore.
Art Vale owns a plumbing and air
conditioning business, he also plans on being
at the reunion.
Ralph Sharper had been busy with his
building business and something about being
a chicken plucker.
Dwayne Sharper usually has to fix everything
that Ralph messes up. They are both coming
to the reunion.

his flag in perfect shape and not knowing his friends and fellow soldiers signed their names on
the flag, now 40 years later it makes for an impressive souvenir. Let's look who signed this flag.
I have since sent the flag back to Jim and some of the names may be mis-spelled, we will get
this fixed. "BUT" This is history never the less.

This is Dave Schryer with James
Geisler in his room, I think they
wanted to have a beer without Ben
the monkey begging for more.
This is Jim with a mighty fine looking young lady.
He used to tell all the girls that he owned this really
great bar.
Jim had the young lady address an envelope so he could
send back for her.
Jim was awarded the
"FICKLE FINGER OF FATE"

Here is a "JUNGLE CRUSHER" doing it's thing
Ration Cards for the PX, it allowed you to buy certain controlled items.
Jim has a copy of a Basic Training manual and it
Always pack the clothes you would like to wear
on weekend leave.
Remember, No you probably don't, but there was a thing
called R & R where you could go to relax, meet with the
stinking drunk and not remember anything.
Here is what Jim had left after his R & R, this is
before taxes.
Have you ever looked at the people who go 4-wheeling today and
laughed when they complained of being stuck in the mud. Jim just
called Triple AAA and they came right out to fix this mess.
Dwayne Sharper at a recent meeting at a Cracker Barrel in Ohio. Just a
small get together for a group of true friends.
