Little did any of us expect that Tet would be with us in a few weeks. The greatest fear was not that I would get killed but the rumor that came of "extension for the duration" like they had done to my father in WWII. I remember how I was offered a promotion if I would extend a few months, but that was not for me. I can't remember a year that was so long. Dan |
